Delena: Damon has spent his whole life getting his heart crushed by someone. He deserves to finally be happy and get the girl of his dreams. He loves and trusts Elena with everything. She is his humanity and without her, he would still be an emotionless killing machine. Elena brings out the good in him and makes him who he once was before he was turned. Damon changes Elena's view of the world and makes her challenge her life and her morals. Damon is a better person when she is around and Elena thinks about things more clearly. They complete each other. After everything Damon went through with Katherine, he deserves to be happy. Elena is the one that makes him happy. She is the only he can actually open up to about his past and who he was before he became who is in the present. Damon is reckless and impulsive and Elena is thoughtful and caring. As the saying goes, opposites attract. When it comes to Damon and Elena, that could not be more true. Elena accepts Damon's flaws and Damon accepts Elena's need to keep those she loves safe, even if it means she loses her life. In the end of season 4, Elena finally made the momentous decision of choosing Damon over Stefan and the cure.
Mabekah: Rebekah has fallen in love with Stefan and had a one-night stand with Damon. she has been hurt and abused by he brother and thrown to the side like trash. Matt has lost his sister and has an unsupportive mother. Both of them have had a very rough life. I believe that they can help stabilize the other and make their life better for each other. Rebekah falls for a guy whole-heartedly and Matt falls for a girl with every ounce of his heart. Matt will make Rebekah a better person and Rebekah can show Matt the world like he has never seen it before. If that's not an epic love story, I don't know what is.
Klaroline: Klaus has always been reckless and has killed numbers of people without an ounce of remorse. Caroline is a minor control freak with a heart of gold. Klaus is kind hearted whenever he is around Caroline. He isn't too quick to snap someone's neck or pull out their heart unless he believes they could cause harm to Caroline. He can take Caroline around the world and let her discover new things in a whole new perspective. Klaus has never real found a love until he found Caroline.
Kalijah: Katherine has been running for her life for over 500 years. Elijah fell in love with Katherine when he first met her in the 1400s. Though Katherine has made many mistakes in her life and manipulated and lied to so many people, Elijah still believes that the girl he met hundreds of years ago still exist somewhere inside of her. Elijah has never given up on Katherine and I don't believe he ever will. That is real love.
Beremy: Bonnie never thought she could actually fall for Elena's kid brother and Jeremy had a huge thing for Bonnie. They were the perfect couple before Jeremy was shot and brought back to life. Him being able to see Anna put a wedge between him and Bonnie because he still had feelings for Anna. They really are a really great couple.
Jalaric: Alaric didn't believe he could fall in love again after the heartbreak caused by his relationship with Isobel and Jenna didn't think she could date another guy after how many time she was hurt by Logan Fell. Jenna and Alaric had a pretty rough relationship due to all the secrets and Alaric's vampire ex-wife showing up now and again. Even through all those hard times, though, they still managed to stay together and never gave up on each other.
Dalaric: The best bromance known to man!!! Even though Damon killed and turned Alaric's ex-wife into a vampire and killed Alaric two or more times, they still were the best of friends and would always go to the Grill for a drink. Damon even held Alaric when he died and shed a few tears. They would always go hunting other deadly vampires and would bury all of their victims together. Damon even shared some of his deep, dark secrets with Alaric on occasion.
